Day 1 - Airport | Negombo


After the completion of arrival formalities at the Colombo International Airport you will experience the warmth of this magical island with a transfer to the fish-ing village of Negombo.Overnight at Hotel in Negombo.

Day 2- Negombo | Kurunegala | Sigiriya

After breakfast visit the fishing village of Negombo and witness a live "catch of fish" if you are early risers and experience village life to the full. Visit the ancient "Ridi Viharaya" (Silver Temple) approximately 20 kilometers from the ancient kingdom of Kurunagala in a smallvillage called Ridi Gama. The temple built by King Dutugemunu in the 2nd century BC as a memorial to the place where he found a silver (Ridi) ore mine which was used to fi-nance the building of the gigantic Ruwanweli Seya situated in Anuradhapura (1st Ancient Capital of Ceylon).

Optional visit to Sigiriya rock – US$ 45.00 per pax - Afternoon climb "Sigiriya rock" commonly known as the ‘Rock Fortress”, UNESCO World Heritage site built in 5th century AD by "King Kasyappa". This mighty 180 meter high ancient stone rock fortress of 5th Century King, surrounded by the remains of extensive network of gardens, reservoirs and other structures.

Overnight in SIGIRIYA.

Day 3 - Sigiriya | Habarana | Passikudah

After breakfast leave for East Coast for leisure at Beach. En-route experience the most exciting Elephant-back trails a unique way to explore the wilderness around the jungle area. In addition, you’ll also be able to view the surrounding wildlife in a more natural and closer setting than from a vehicle.

Optional visit to Polonnaruwa – US$ 45.00 per pax - Visit Polonnaruwa, the 2nd capital of Ceylon (a UNESCO world heritage site). Highlights include the archaeological museum, the royal palace of KING PARAKRAMA BAHU the Great, the quadrangle of tem-ples including the GAL VIHARE with its monolithic granite statues emerging from the shrub jungles, watched by armies of monkeys.

Continue to Passikudha. Transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 4 - Passikudah

At leisure on the beach in Passikudha. Breakfast & Dinner at hotel.

After breakfast leave for Kandy en-route visit the Dambulla Golden rock temple with its historical archeological and artistic significance, declared as world heritage sites by UNESCO.

Proceed to visit the Herbal Gardens and the Batik factory in Matale. Also have the op-portunity to witness and also take part in the "Sri Lanka village style culinary experience", Lunch at the Herbal Gardens in Matale.Continue to Kandy, arrival transfer to hotel. Proceed to visit the most sacred Temple, Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha also referred as the “Sri Dalada Maligawa” and witness the religious ceremony just before sunset at auspicious time set by the temple. Evening visit the Gem Museum and the Showroom.

Return to hotel for overnight.

DAY 7 - Kandy

After breakfast visit the Royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya, variety of ornamental, decorative & medicinal plants. There are more than 4000 species which include indige-nous and introduced plants. The garden is best known for collection of orchids. Proceed to visit the handicraft centre, the upper lake for a panoramic view of the garden city. Evening witness the spectacular performance of a Kandyan dance show. Return to hotel for overnight. Optional sightseeing – Pinnawala – us$ 50.00 per pax Pinnawala visit Elephant Orphanage, located on the banks of Mahaoya. Most elephants in the Orphan-age are raised to maturity after having been found abandoned or injured in the country's jungles. It is in-teresting to visit at the feeding and bathing time.

DAY 8 - KANDY | BANDARAWELA – TRAIN JOURNEY (Seats on Availability)

After breakfast leave for Nuwara-eliya en-route witness the scenic beauty of Tea plantation.Waterfalls and the mountain range. Take the train journey from Nanu-oya (station nearby to Nuwara-Eliya) to Bandarawela this is the most scenic journey. Arrival Bandarawela transfer to hotel for overnight


Soft mountain trek into the Tea Bush, witness the scenic beauty of the hill country (recommended for the young and fiscally sound clients) and trek to Lipton Seat (Highest Peak Point)

Day 9 - Bandarawela | Negombo

After breakfast leave for Colombo, lunch at local restaurant, brief sightseeing of the city of Colombo, Continue to Negombo for overnight.

Day 10 – Negombo | Airport

After breakfast at leisure till departure to the airport.
